Licensed in the states of Hawaii and Ohio, Founder Jackie Lucas has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 13 years and specializes in balayage and "lived in looks."
She began her journey at just 16 years old attending Cosmetology school, simultaneously graduating from high school with her Cosmetology license. She continued to develop her skill set through a 2 year apprenticeship and went on to become the General Manager of a hair salon and boutique in Cleveland, Ohio for 8 years prior to her move to Hawaii.
She’s received training from industry professionals around the world, traveling to Chicago, Miami, New York City, and Italy. She even had the privilege to attend the World Wide Hair Tour in Parma, Italy at the launch of the Davines Village - the global headquarters and sustainable beauty destination including a regenerative organic farm, research center, and education hub.
In her time outside of the salon you can find her in the community coaching CrossFit, helping small businesses thrive through her marketing and events company Native Grind, spending time in the ocean as a Dive Master, hiking, and adventuring with friends.
